Taylor Mali
A poet, teacher, and playwright, Taylor Mali is a four-time National Poetry Slam champion and president of Poetry Slam Inc. (the governing organization for the National Poetry Slam). Mali recently showcased his new one-man show, Teacher Teacher, for NBC and at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen where he won the Jury Prize for Best One Person Performance. He was also one of the original poets on HBO's Russell Simmons presents Def Poetry.

This classically trained Shakespearian actor has taken a lot of theatre with him. Mali is an Oxford-educated actor with an M.A. in English literature who until recently put those skills to use teaching math to sixth graders at a private school in Manhattan. "There is a poetry in numbers unlike any that can be found in words," he says. In addition to his live spoken word performances, Mali recently released What Learning Leaves (Hanover Press) and has released two CDs entitled Poems From the Like Free Zone and The Difference Between Left and Wrong. He was also one of the principal subjects in Paul Devlin's 1997 documentary SlamNation.

Rick Rigsby
Dr. Rick Rigsby is President and CEO of Rick Rigsby Communications and founder of Rick Rigsby Ministries. Dr. Rigsby speaks to corporations, service organizations and school groups on issues such as character, teamwork and excellence. As founder of Rick Rigsby Ministries, Rick inspires audiences worldwide — from the remote jungles of Africa to church pulpits throughout America. A former professor at Texas A&M University, Dr. Rigsby held a faculty appointment in the Department of Communication. He also held an appointment at The Center for Executive Development in the College of Business. Dr. Rigsby continues to serve Coach Dennis Franchione as chaplain for the Aggie football team. In addition to his role as the Aggie's chaplain, Rick speaks at chapel services for numerous teams in the National Football League.
