The Nevada Association of School Administrators (NASA) is a statewide "umbrella" organization established to address the unique needs of school administrators.

Established in 1976, the Association supports the educational, professional, and legislative needs of school administrators and works to enhance their leadership roles. NASA provides the strong statewide, unified force that administrators need to make improvements in the profession.

The Association serves equally the broad interests of five component associations: Nevada Association of Elementary School Principals, Secondary School Principals Association of Nevada, Nevada Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development, Nevada Central Office Administrators, and the Nevada Association of School Superintendents.

NASA serves you in the following ways:

• Provides a job-related legal assistance program.
• Provides a variety of insurance programs such as life, accidental death, home, automobile, professional liability, etc.
• Provides a full-time lobbyist in Carson City during legislative sessions.
• Sponsors two professional conferences each year. Free certification credit is available.
• Publishes The Nevada Administrator five times each year.
• Publishes LIFE, a biweekly publication, during legislative sessions.
• Employs a full-time executive director to disseminate information and provide continuous service to members, officers, and committees.
• Is actively involved with other educational associations.
