Mission
The New Mexico Association of Elementary School Principals (NMAESP) will develop, nurture and sustain local and state Principal Networks that create powerful relationships for effective leadership and learning.

Goals:

1. NMAESP will develop and support principals by providing learning opportunities that ensure access to the knowledge, skills, networks, and tools necessary to equip all students for the twenty-first century.
2. NMAESP will develop and sustain local and state networks that create powerful relationships for effective leadership and learning.
3. NMAESP, working with state affiliates and other education partners, will develop model legislation to enhance the principal's ability to lead schools.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
NMAESP is united with the National Association of Elementary School Principals under a joint membership arrangement. Members must join both associations, and therefore receive the expanded benefits and services of both associations. The goals and success of NMAESP and NAESP depend on active, vital, paid membership. To ensure that every elementary and middle school principal and assistant principal is able to help us build the profession, the dues of NMAESP and NAESP remain among the least expensive in the nation.
